Is free Internet marketing even possible?
Internet marketing seems to be a big budget item these days. You can lose your shirt on Google Adwords and other Pay Per Clicks if you don't know what you're doing. Then add the costs of having a web site and domain name, miscellaneous software, advertisements, autoresponders, and so forth -- you're not talking pennies.
So imagine my surprise last week when I discovered this guy selling an el cheapo report called "Bum Marketing." This guy called it Bum Marketing because, he said, "even a bum on the street could make money with this report, using a computer at the library."
I was curious. I figured it was worth the whole $7 to find out if you really can do free internet marketing in 2007. I bought the report. After all, a Starbucks grande moccachino can run you that and more, if you add a biscotti. And, unlike the moccachino, the report won't settle on my hips.
It was interesting, I have to say. And its not that small. You get 37 pages of ways of doing free Internet marketing. Real, legitimate techniques that work in real life. Granted, you'll have to do some sweat equity with this. It's a trade off. Spend a lot of money on Google Adwords but do minimal work, or spend no money with Bum marketing and do a fair bit of work.
The writer talks a lot about article marketing. I've done some of this in the past, and I know it works. I haven't focused on it to the extent that Bum Marketing discusses, but I have no problems believing that you could be successful using the techniques in the report. I just might give it a try and see how I make out.
As for the cons, I think the report could be a little better written. A good editor could have done wonders tightening things up and inmproving the clarity. That aside, the info it contains is definitely worth $7. Probably its worth a lot more than $7 to learn how to do free Internet marketing.
